Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea are a major topic for the transfer market in London. The Blues are on a new track under the German boss and planning more renovation plans for the summer to a better statement in the competitions.
According to the latest transfer updates, Chelsea and Serie A leaders, Inter Milan linked for summer business. The proposal involves two star midfielders in the prospectus. Chelsea midfielder Jorginho and Inter’s Christian Eriksen.
Sources report a direct swap between the Blues and Nerazzurri in the summer. The new conditions in Chelsea are yet to draw references from the squad and Tuchel has to find a permanent line-up for the first level competitions.
Transfer prospects: Chelsea
Jorginho set his play in West London in 2018 from Serie A giants SSC Napoli. He got a contract that lasts till 2023 in Stamford Bridge. He featured for 15 games this season in Premier League. Also, he played every single minute under new boss Thomas Tuchel. (Transfermarkt)

The Blues manager started with a safe side focusing on the experienced legs in the squad. Jorginho was one of his preferences in the midfield.
But, there are multiple contenders for the position and more fixtures will decide the top picks for the manager.
According to the reports, Chelsea is adding more cash to the deal if they consider a swap with Inter. Also, they won’t let the midfielder leave the side in a free deal because of his significant impact on the team.
Transfer prospects: Inter Milan
Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan are in a tough competition for the title in Serie A. They are placed second in the table with 2 points behind the rivals AC Milan. Danish Midfielder Christian Eriksen joined Inter in the winter transfer window last year after a stunning campaign in Tottenham Hotspur.
The midfielder got only 10 league games this season out of 21 under Antonio Conte. He is also struggling with the issue of consistency in the midfield not fitting according to the plans of Conte.
A swap deal for Jorginho is a comparatively advantage for Inter as the Italian is more fitting to the style of former Chelsea boss. Eriksen was phenomenal in the Spurs camp and now the settings are different in Italy.
The player has got 3 more years in his contract in Italy and not sure about the playing time in San Siro. Considering an offer to Chelsea would add more minutes to his profile. Also, he is comfortable with the Premier League setup.
Both Jorginho and Eriksen are in the same range when it comes to finance. But, the season stat will demand more for Jorginho. Hence, a swap deal is less favourable for the Blues. The summer transfer window seems to be deciding one for both midfielders.
