Two unfancied players are all set for a departure from Chelsea this month
Christian Pulisic’s arrival at Stamford Bridge next season surely excited the Chelsea fans. However, the move also meant someone will leave the club in 2019. Chelsea fans are convinced that their star man Eden Hazard could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge. It seems this Chelsea duo might leave club in January.
Cesc Fabregas and Davide Zappacosta are expected to be offloaded this month. Chelsea are expected to trim their squad during the January transfer window. The Blues have made an early move to pull off the £58million signing of Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund. However, there will also be players going out from Stamford Bridge this month.
Thierry Henry’s Monaco are pushing to sign Cesc Fabregas to help save his side from relegation. The Spaniard, who could make his 500th English club appearance tonight against Southampton, has started only one Premier League match since the summer arrival of Jorginho. Fabregas is out of contract in the summer and Monaco are willing to offer a two-and-a-half year contract with a £9m signing-on bonus.

AC Milan are also in the mix for Fabregas but are struggling to come up with the funds for a transfer fee and wages.
Lazio, meanwhile, want to sign full-back Davide Zappacosta from the Blues. The Italian has also fallen out of favour under Maurizio Sarri and has played for only 18 minutes in the Premier League this season. The Serie A club want Zappacosta on loan while Chelsea want a permanent sale. A compromise could be a loan deal until the end of the season with a clause to complete the deal in the summer.
Lazio have made Davide Zappacosta their number one priority in January, says Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Biancocelesti are keen to sign a right-back in January, as Martin Caceres looks set to leave the club. The capital club have been heavily linked with Darmian, but the Daily Mirror believes they are also looking at Zappacosta. The defender joined Chelsea from Torino but has made only 10 Premier League starts in his 18 months in London.
