Chelsea Involved in Last Ditch Transfer Rumors

There are a lot of issues regarding the Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang saga of joining Arsenal in which a cluster of deals could be involved. However, it surely spells the end of the road for Frenchman Olivier Giroud.

With Arsenal set to sign the Gabonese international forward for a fee close to £60 million, Borussia Dortmund is keen to bring in a replacement for Aubamenyang and have lined up Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi or Arsenal outcast Giroud. However, the Premier League champions are unwilling to let their Belgian forward leave unless they too find a suitable replacement in their front-line.

And the Stamford Bridge outfit is eyeing their London rivals, Arsenal forward Giroud. There is also news from the Gunners camp that Giroud is not ready to relocate to Germany, which means that Dortmund is close to signing Batshuayi on loan for the remainder of the season.

Chelsea To Get The Best Of Deals?

The Blues are currently in the right spot and may get the best of the deals when they unfold as manager Antonio Conte looks to offload Batshuayi, a move that he has been longing for quite a while. Conte is keen on bringing in another big center-forward this window that could ease the goal-scoring pressure on club-record signing Alvaro Morata.

But it hasn’t been that easy since his arrival.
Even though Arsenal would be getting one of the hottest strikers in the world at the moment, Chelsea can decide whether they want to let go of Michy Batshuayi and bring in a replacement in the form of Giroud, who is also desperate to play regular football.

Authors Take-

It’s a strange one; however, if Giroud does join Chelsea, he could definitely bring in more goals at the club and could take some workload off Morata, who has been struggling off-late. On the other hand, Chelsea may have to sign a new forward player if they are letting Batshuayi leave this January transfer window.
