Chelsea are desperate to replace their striker Diego Costa with another proven goal scorer from the Premier League itself. Man City forward Sergio Aguero is the latest to be linked with Chelsea.

ESPN claims that Antonio Conte’s side will be ready for a transfer battle with Spanish giants Real Madrid for this Argentine. In the last couple of transfer windows, Real Madrid was heavily linked with signing Aguero from Man City. But the latest reports from London suggest that Chelsea have also joined in the race to sign Aguero.

The 28-year-old forward seems to have started struggling to fit in Pep Guardiola’s system at Man City. With the recent arrival Gabriel Jesus, Aguero might find it more difficult to start every game as he did in the last five seasons.

Since arriving in 2011, the Argentine has been the best player for them winning two Premier League titles for Man City so far in his career.  But under Pep Guardiola’s new system at Man City, Aguero has been demoted to bench a few times this season.

Diego-Costa

Even though Chelsea have a star striker upfront in Diego Costa, there has been some rumours about the player moving to China or Spain. If Costa decides to leave Chelsea at the end of this season, then Conte will definitely look to sign a striker next season. With his Premier League experience, Aguero will be a primary candidate to replace Costa at Chelsea.

In addition to Chelsea, there have also been some rumours about Inter Milan targeting Aguero. The Express reports that Inter Milan are preparing their own offer for Man City forward.

Mirror reports that Spanish side Atletico Madrid are plotting a move for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez.

There has been a lot of rumours about Antoine Greizmann leaving the club and joining Manchester United.  It is understood that Sanchez may become a perfect replacement for Greizmann. Atletico are ready to offer £60m for the 28-year-old Arsenal forward.

Victor Lindelof

Manchester United target Victor Lindelof seems to have signed a new contract at Benfica with a release clause of £50m.

The Swedish defender was heavily linked with Old Trafford club in the last one month. There were reports that Lindelof has agreed to personal terms with Man United and even offered the new jersey number.  But as of now, there has been no talks between both the clubs. Jose Mourinho’s side will have wait till the summer transfer window to finalize the deal.
