Chelsea are looking to strengthen their squad by signing a world-class winger to challenge strongly for the Premier League and with Hazard’s future in the dark. They have now recognized a great player.
Chelsea are likely to sign Malcom in January after being tipped as favourites by Coral by a 2/1 odd. The Blues are the strongest contenders and could also be involved in a swap deal which can include Willian going to Catalonia after some really long-standing interest from Barcelona in the previous summer.
Coral spokesman John Hill told Starsport: “It hasn’t quite worked out for Malcom at Barcelona this season, therefore, it would be no surprise to see them offload the Brazilian in January and if they do, the betting suggests Chelsea are most likely to sign the winger.”

However, Malcom has insisted that Barcelona is the place where he wants to play his football. The Brazilian scored his first goal for Barcelona during their 1-1 draw with Inter Milan on Tuesday evening. It was incidentally his Champions League debut with the club as well.
“That is fake information and it will not break my confidence,” he told Goal.
“Scoring a goal for Barcelona right after that [the rumours] was important for my confidence and I’m sure I can do much more to help the club.”
Barcelona is the place that is worst suited for Malcom given that he will not be playing regularly for at least two or three years. Chelsea would be another horrible club because the Blues don’t have a history of doing well while developing youngsters. Malcom should best hope that there is some mid-table club willing to take him.
