Chelsea News: Chelsea is on the lookout for good central defenders to fill the hole left by Rudiger and Christensen’s departure. As of now Chalobah and Thiago Silva are the only 2 recognized players who could slot in for Thomas Tuchel.

Chelsea will surely be looking to make some new signings. Sevilla’s Jules Kounde is one of the players the club is looking at. However, the club would want two signings to replace the players they lost.

Also in case, Kounde’s deal falls off, Chelsea desperately needs one good defensive signing. This is where Torino’s Gleison Bremer comes into the picture. The Blues have taken an interest and are looking to place a bid for him.

However, they are not alone in Bremer’s pursuit. Tottenham too is putting in an effort to revamp its defense. Konte wants to bring in good young players and Bremer is on his radar.

It was a pretty decent finish for Torino as they managed to end up in the top half of the table at the 10th position. In terms of their defensive capabilities, the club had the 5th best defensive record in the league.

Gleison Bremer was at the heart of that with 33 appearances to his name for Torino. Chelsea could use someone like that as they too are looking for good defenders in a bid to bolster their defense.

As per reports from Football London, The two North London clubs are going to start a bidding war for Bremer’s availability. Torino is looking for a figure of around  €40million (£34m)for his services.

As per the latest rumors, the likes of Bayern Munich and Inter Milan were also inquiring about the player’s availability. Bremer has two years left on his contract so this might be the best time for Torino to cash out on him.

Ever since Erling Haaland’s arrival Gabriel Jesus’s future at Manchester City has been under threat. The Brazilian has been linked with a move away from Manchester City with Arsenal to be his supposed destination.

Although, if you look at it objectively Jesus would be taking a compromise as he would be switching from the Champions League to the Europa League. Chelsea on the other hand would eliminate that compromise.

Lukaku has shown a desire to make his return to Inter Milan. He also had a very average season while Jesus on the other hand found his form with City scoring key goals in the ending stages of City’s campaign.

Jesus could be a good fit for Chelsea and would be comparatively cheaper. His fee would be covered in the money that would arise out of Lukaku’s sale. Jesus could be an option for Thomas Tuchel should he decide to sell Lukaku.
