Chelsea News: The Blues will take time with new owners

Chelsea News: Chelsea is currently in a big administrative crisis as owner Roman Abramovich was forced to sell the club. He was sanctioned by the UK government due to his close links with Vladimir Putin. Abramovich put up the Blues for sale as it was the last option left for the welfare of the team.

There are several interested bidders in the frame who want to purchase the Blues. The sale is being overseen by US brokers Raine. There is a concern among smaller clubs who owe about £1.5 billion in debt to Roman Abramovich. They are feeling that if he decides to write off the debt, it will give Chelsea an unfair advantage.

The bigger clubs are less concerned about the debt. Their concern is more inclined towards Abramovich’s motives and the whole process of the sale. The feeling is that after Abramovich’s departure, his successor will need time to adapt while the spending, budgets, and transfer targets may have to reel back in.

Chelsea is already dealing with some difficulties following the sanctioning of Abramovich. After the arrival of a new owner, it is predicted by the rivals that the club will require at least two years to recover.

Chelsea is waiting for the new owner. There are plenty of wealthy owners with huge financial backing, making their bids for the Blues. However, with a new owner, it will take time for the club to adjust and function as smoothly as they did under Abramovich.

One of the problems that will arise with Chelsea is the joint ownership model. The majority of the bidders have joined forces in a consortium or with investment backers. This may not be as easy as a single-figure owner like Abramovich.

Another problem that may arise is the battle they have to fight to keep director Marina Granovskaia. Marina Granovskaia has become a respected figure amongst all the Premier League clubs. She has overseen some amazing deals.

Granovskaia helped Chelsea in recruiting Thomas Tuchel from Paris Saint-Germain. As of now, the German manager appears to be in the long run at Stamford Bridge. Under his management, the Blues have won the Champions League and the Club World Cup.

The team is still performing consistently

Chelsea is performing consistently well as a team even with the administrative crisis going on. They are third in the Premier League standings behind Liverpool and Manchester City.

The Blues have also reached the Quarter-finals of the Champions League. They beat LOSC Lille in the Round-of-16 and will now face Real Madrid in the Quarter Finals.

Chelsea is also in the Semifinals of the FA Cup where they will face Crystal Palace. The Blues are playing good football even after facing issues with the sanctioning of their owner. While bidding adieu to Roman Abramovich, they will certainly hope to give him a farewell with a title victory.

Even though Chelsea will require some time for adjustment with the new owner, they will certainly want to continue their winning run. They will want to win another trophy after the Club World Cup this season.
