The latest news from London suggests that Antonio Conte’s Chelsea have already started their process in finding a replacement for their star striker.
According to Express, Premier League giants, Chelsea is ready to replace Diego Costa with a German superstar.
The report suggests that Chelsea is preparing a bid for Bayern Munich playmaker Thomas Muller next summer.
In the last couple of days, there were a lot of rumours about Costa leaving Chelsea for a massive offer from Chinese club. The Spain international was left out of the squad for Leicester match due to this rumour. But the table-toppers found it very easy to defeat champions at their home 3-0 on Saturday night.
It is understood that Antonio Conte has already found a perfect replacement for Costa. The rumours suggest that the Chinese club is ready to pay £80 million for Costa, which could tempt Chelsea to sell their 28-year-old striker. Since his arrival in 2014, Costa has been one of the best strikers in the Premier League.
Bayern Munich superstar Thomas Muller is one among the options for Conte to replace Costa. The German international has been in poor form this season under the new manager Carlos Ancelotti. Recently there were reports suggesting that Muller could be dropped to the bench if the performance isn’t improved.
The current market value suggests that the 27-year-old Bayern man will cost Chelsea at least £75 million. Bayern academy product is also one of the best players in the world.

Another media outlet Sun reports that Chelsea is also considering Dimitri Payet as an option to replace unhappy Costa.
Recently West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic confirmed that the club rejected a £20 million bid from Marseille for Payet. In addition, he also said Payet is refusing to play after the club rejected an offer from his former club.
Last year, Payet signed a new contract with West Ham worth £125,000 lasting till 2021. It is very much clear that the club isn’t in a hurry to sell their star player. There have also been some reports that Payet could be fined £220,000 for every fortnight he refuses to play.
The 27-year-old French international joined the Hammers last season and made an instant impact in Premier League. In his second season with the club, Payet is said to be unhappy and is adamant for a move. The Sun claims that Chelsea is set to make a shock £40 million moves for West Ham’s Dimitri Payet. Without a doubt, he will move to Chelsea if Antonio Conte decides to add another attacking option to his team.
