Mount distances himself from social media
The England international has been at the top of his game lately for both club and country. Mount was able to find the net for England in their 4-0 triumph over Iceland at Wembley. But the youngster has revealed that he tries to distance himself from social media after a game.
Mount was under criticism lately for his inclusion in the National squad. But the youngster was able to dodge their online criticism with his performance on the pitch. He was also able to back himself up saying such comments don’t make an impact on him.
“I know the focus on my performance or the team’s performance is on the pitch. We’ve got to do what we have to do on the pitch. What comes with it off, it doesn’t bother me too much.” -Mason Mount
Mounts feels that with the stadiums empty the fans take it to social media to share their views. Whatever the outcome be, fans post their comments on social media. And the youngster tries to keep himself away from both the good and bad comments.
Victor Moses may miss out on transfer
Moses is on a season-long loan at Russian outfit Spartak Moscow. Chelsea was hoping to make a permanent deal with the club at the end of the loan period. But it seems like Moses has not been able to impress the Russian outfit to urge them to sign him.
The Blues were hoping to let some cash flow into their treasury with the sale of Moses. But the winger’s lack of form may scrub any chances of making a permanent deal at Spartak Moscow.
Spartak manager Domenico Tedesco was unimpressed by Moses’ performance in their draw against Dinamo Moscow. If the winger keeps disappointing the Russian club they may not consider their option to buy him at the loan end period.
And the winger has very scarce chances of returning to Chelsea to get time on the pitch. Hence he is likely to return to the loan circle if he fails to secure a permanent transfer.
