The Blues will look to deal with the issue in this transfer window itself. There are some players who are likely to leave the club. Although Thomas Tuchel did give game time to everyone however it was more of an exercise to probably get a better value for them.

Alonso and Emerson both were poised to leave under Lampard. Things changed for Alonso when Thomas Tuchel came in but not it was not quite the same for Emerson. Fikayo Tomori has already left with Abraham likely to follow in his footsteps.

There were also rumors for Kovacic leaving but at this point in time, that’s all they are. Giroud too might leave as a free agent as making cap space for salaries is also an objective for Chelsea. They plan to bring in at least 2 more big names.

Chelsea set to announce another departure from their squad

As a result, the club will have to clean up its financials. There are also players who will leave on loan in search of more game time. Chelsea’s starlet Billy Gilmour will now be one of those players.

The young midfielder didn’t get much game time this season. A combination of injuries and Chelsea’s star-studded lineup didn’t quite work for him. Although he is important for the organization which is why he is being sent on a season-long loan for his development.

Chelsea will soon announce Billy Gilmour’s move to Norwich on a season long loan

Chelsea will be hoping that Gilmour gains some invaluable experience in his time with Norwich

Billy Gilmour made a grand entrance in the Premier League. The youngster announced with presence with his smooth nutmeg on Liverpool’s Fabinho. Frank Lampard viewed the player highly and gave him a run with the team.

Gilmour would have been among the substitutes for Chelsea if not for injuries. The 20-year-old had won the man of the match award in each and every game he has started. Quite an accolade for someone in a team full of talented individuals.

According to reports from Sky Sports Gilmour will soon complete a move to Norwich City. The youngster has complete his medical with the newly promoted Canaries. Norwich City are coming off a dominant Championship campaign.

However, the club has lost their most valuable player in form of Emi Buendia. Buendia has joined Aston Villa on a 5-year deal as a potential backup for Jack Grealish who is rumored to leave Villa.

Norwich will be hoping that Gilmour’s arrival will have a positive impact for the side. Norwich often struggles to stay afloat after making it to the Premier League. This time their target should be to have a strong showing something similar to what Leeds did.

Billy Gilmour will gain valuable experience playing for a comparatively weaker team. He will still play in the Premier League and will go head to head with the best in the league. An experience like that can give you a whole lot of composure and maturity.
