Eden Hazard has been flirting with Real Madrid and has publicly spoken about wanting to play in the Spanish capital and Chelsea are seemingly furious. They are now set to hold talks of an ultimatum with Hazard.
Eden Hazard has enjoyed a superb start to life under Maurizio Sarri. The Belgian playmaker is slowly turning into a lethal goal scorer as well and has already scored eight times so far this season, one which is turning out to be the best of his career. He has less than two years left on his contract and the Blues have happily offered an extension to it.
Chelsea are preparing to make Hazard among the Premier League’s highest paid players with a weekly wage of £300,000 per week. But the Belgian is not committing his future to the Blues to realise his dream of playing for Real Madrid. The interest from the European champions is existent since a while.

It looked to have finally materialised when they were expected to sign Eden Hazard following Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure. However, they did not do so but might finally approach the Chelsea winger to address their goalscoring issues. And as he has done previously, Hazard admitted about being torn into two regarding his future.
But Chelsea and Maurizio Sarri, in particular, are going to hold a meeting with the Belgium international regarding his contract in which they will level-headedly try to convince Hazard to stay. There is no guarantee for Chelsea and they are expected to provide Eden Hazard with a certain number of assurances to sway his mind.
Author’s Take:
It will surely be difficult for Chelsea to convince Eden Hazard to stay because money does not seem to be a problem for the 27-year-old. It is that he wants to fulfil his childhood thirst of playing for the world’s best club, and now is the perfect time to make the supposed and expected switch to Spain’s capital.
