Former champions of England, Chelsea have now signed Marseille’s Michy Batshuayi, who was really impressive in the Ligue 1 in the previous campaign. The youngster has now completed his moved to Stamford Bridge and has agreed a five year deal with the Blues. The 22 year old superstar is a powerful, high quality striker, who could bolster the Londoner’s attack and help them challenge for more titles, under the guidance of incoming boss Antonio Conte.
The attacker has already shown off his finishing skills with superb spells in France and Belgium and is now wanted by the Premier League giants.
The ex Standard Liege star also left his mark at the Euro 2016 tournament, when he scored a goal with his first touch in the competition last Sunday, from Eden Hazard’s cross in the 4-0 triumph over Hungary.
With the dream of playing in the top flight of English football, the player has now joined the west London outfit and in an interview, after the deal was done stated, “I am delighted to sign for one of the biggest clubs in Europe and embark on the next chapter in my career. I hope I can help Chelsea win many trophies during my time at Stamford Bridge.”
