Chelsea and United States Football star Christian Pulisic has attracted some negative attention due to his recent actions. Pulisic is being slammed by Animal rights groups and his fans for his recently uploaded video on Instagram.

The winger is currently out enjoying his holiday before the beginning of next season. In his video, Pulisic is showboating his skills on a boat while he has a big fish or a Goliath Grouper next to him on the hook. Seems like Pulisic was trying to teach the fish he caught a trick or two.

The star ended up doing a trick too many and lost his balance, almost falling into the sea. He was caught by a friend and only got his lower body wet. Pulisic also hit his foot on the big fish who was still dangling on the hook.

At the end of the video, Pulisic is seen managing a nervous laugh for the fail. But it seems like the video has backfired. Instead of finding it funny or anything else, the fans were unimpressed. Many fans left comments on the posts regarding the cruel treatment by Pulisic and his friends.

Meanwhile, many fans and his teammates found it funny just like Pulisic’s intent, and were seen commenting with laughing emojis. Thiago Silva, Tammy Abraham, and Marcos Alonso have also commented on his post.

Many fans have warned Pulisic that he should take down the post before people start attacking him for his behavior.

The video is quite viral already and has more than 15,00,000 views and 4,00,000 likes on Instagram. It remains to be seen if it gets taken down by Pulisic or Instagram for breaching any guidelines which seem unlikely.

Christian Pulisic at Chelsea

Pulisic moved from Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund to Chelsea in 2019 for an estimated fee of £58 million. This transfer to Premier League club Chelsea made him the most expensive North American player of all time.

He finished his first season at Chelsea as arguably the Blues and the Premier League’s most in-form player. During his first season, he also became the first American to score in an FA Cup final, against Arsenal at Wembley. In 52 appearances in the Premier League, he has scored 13 times and assisted 8. He is an important part of the Chelsea squad and the club has no plans to let him leave anytime soon.

Last season he became the first American in history to play in the UEFA Champion’s League final. He also won the tournament with his team after defeating Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City 1-0 in the finals. He’s been making history during his time at Chelsea, becoming the first American to win a UCL title. He has become a star and icon back home, with many youngsters looking up to him for inspiration.
