Chelsea transfer news: The Blues have agreed on personal terms with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Chelsea have made Aubameyang a transfer target as they look to bolster their attacking department before the transfer window closes. Manager Thomas Tuchel wants Chelsea to make more signings before the transfer window closes.
Aubameyang has also previously worked with Tuchel at Borussia Dortmund. The Gabonese striker was at Dortmund between 2013 and 2018, and Tuchel was the German side’s manager between 2015 and 2017.
Meanwhile, Chelsea is also interested in Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana. They are nearing an agreement with the Foxes for the highly-rated French defender.

Goal report that Chelsea have agreed on personal terms with Aubameyang. However, they have not yet reached an agreement with Barcelona for the transfer of Aubameyang. Barca reportedly wants £21.4m for the 33-year-old striker.
Aubameyang joined Barcelona only earlier this year in the January transfer window. He signed for the Spanish side after he and Arsenal terminated his contract by mutual consent. Aubameyang enjoyed an impressive first season at Barcelona, scoring 13 goals from 23 appearances.
Aubameyang has only featured in one game for Barcelona this season. He came on as a substitute in their 0-0 draw to Rayo Vallecano in their La Liga 22/23 opener. Aubameyang was an unused substitute in the two games Barcelona have played since.
Aubameyang could also see game time reduce should he stay at Barcelona. They have signed Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich and the Polish striker is expected to be Barca’s preferred no.9 choice this season.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have had a mixed start to their new season. They began their campaign with a 1-0 win over Everton. Chelsea faced London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in their next game which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Chelsea suffered their first defeat of the Premier League 22/23 season when they traveled to Elland Road to take on Leeds United. The hosts inflicted a 3-0 defeat on Chelsea in the game.
The Stamford Bridge outfit hosted Leicester City in their fourth match of the league season and secured a 2-1 victory. Chelsea then succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Southampton in their next match.
The Blues currently have seven points from their first five matches and they sit eighth in the league table. Chelsea host West Ham in their next match in the English top-flight.
