Gabriel Slonina and his agent flew to London today for medical and to sign off a long-term deal with Chelsea. The plan was to fly in and sign a deal and return to Chicago for a loan, as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano.
The 18-year-old is having a breakthrough spell in Major League Soccer club Chicago Fires. The American goalkeeper has 10 clean sheets this season already. He will be needed 7 more out of 11 games to break the league record.
