Fofana is currently among the most exciting defenders in Europe. He joined the Foxes from Saint-Etienne for £36.5 million in the summer transfer window of 2020.
The France youth international has made 50 appearances in all competitions for the East Midlands club so far, scoring nine goals. He was part of the Foxes team that lifted the FA Cup during the 2020-21 season.
However, he missed most of last season with a broken leg. He returned to full fitness in March this year and played a key role for the East Midlands club during the concluding stages of the 2021-22 season.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Leicester City have rejected a £60 million bid by Chelsea for Wesley Fofana. The Foxes insist that the young Frenchman is not for sale this transfer window.
However, Fofana wants a move to Stamford Bridge this transfer window and the Blues are preparing another bid to sign him. The 21-year-old defender signed a two-year contract extension with the Foxes in March, which will run until the end of the 2026-27 season.
Thomas Tuchel is working to bolster his backline this window after losing Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen. He has already signed Kalidou Koulibaly, with a deal to bring Marc Cucurella from Brighton and Hove Albion also in place.
The London outfit have also shown interest in signing RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol and Inter Milan’s Denzel Dumfries in recent weeks. Apart from their defensive unit, the Blues have also bolstered other areas of the squad by signing Raheem Sterling, Carney Chukwuemeka and Gabriel Slonania.
What will Wesley Fofana bring to Stamford Bridge?
