Chelsea Transfer News: Reports are emerging before the transfer market that Liverpool and Barcelona might target Chelsea’s strike Christian Pulisic in the upcoming transfer window. Both sides have equally gained interest in the player.
Barcelona, however, is not at a stage to make an offer, as they are struggling financially. New Manager Xavi Hernandez might either go for an exchange deal or he will make an offer in 2023 if possible.
According to reports, Chelsea has demanded more than €50 million for Pulisic, if any club in the market wants to negotiate a deal.
Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool’s current boss, already knows the 23-year-old Chelsea’s striker from his days when Klopp was the in-charge of Borussia Dortmund. Reports also claim that Klopp expressed his interest in the winger in 2019 as well, but lost the bid to Premier League Champions.
For the ongoing season, Pulisic has suffered from injuries most of the time. His injuries have led him to miss some of the primary fixtures & which has led to the reduction of his playtime.
He returned for the training to the club last month after suffering from an ankle knock in the month of September. The Blues made him the part of the first team in the recent Chelsea vs Juventus game.
