Commonwealth Games 2022 India: Review of Hockey Team in Birmingham

Commonwealth Games 2022 India: The Indian men’s hockey team has had success recently, putting on strong performances at the Asia Cup in 2022 and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Indian hockey is back to its former glory, and the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham will be their next test.

They earned a bronze medal at the Olympics after shocking Germany 5-4, which helped them rebuild their support base after a recent decline. India won the bronze medal at the Asia Cup after defeating Japan 1-0 under the captaincy of Rupinder Pal Singh.

From July 29 to August 7 in Birmingham, England’s University of Birmingham Hockey and Squash Centre, the Women’s Hockey competition for the Commonwealth Games 2022 is set to take place.
