Could Ozil be on his way to Giuseppe Meazza?

Serie A champs could sign Arsenal German man only if Emery harmonize the chief demand.

INTER MILAN are open to signing Mesut Ozil on loan if only Arenal agree to pay half of his wages, according to reports. The German has fallen out of favour under Unai Emery, meaning his Arsenal career is now at a crossroad.

The Gunners appeared to have made a major blunder when offering Ozil a new contract worth £350,000 per week last year. Now they are having difficulty finding the finances to fund any additions in the January transfer market.

Unai Emery is in desperate need of reinforcements after being hit with a series of injuries but can only sign players on loan. But the boss may now have been handed a lifeline. According to the Daily Star, Inter Milan are willing to take the attacking midfielder on loan for the rest of the season, permitting that Arsenal pay half of his wages. The news comes in the midst of Arsenal’s approach of Ivan Perisic.

The club yesterday launched a loan move for the Croatian with an option to buy for £35million in the summer.

At the moment there is no agreement between the two clubs but Arsenal remain keen on bringing in some new additions before the end of the window. Italian journalist Nicolo Schira gave Unai Emery a reason to be optimistic a deal can be completed.

He tweeted: “Ivan #Perisic’s agent has asked #Inter to be sold to #Arsenal. He wants to leave to Premier League, but in this moment there isn’t an agreement between #Gunners and Marotta on bid (#Emery has offered a loan with option to buy, Inter wants €35M). Contacts ongoing. #transfers #AFC”

Inter boss Luciano Spalletti hinted before Arsenal’s interest that the player would be subject to offers in the January window.

He said,

“It’s normal for him to talk about him in the market, because he’s a strong player,he said. We do not talk about those who have no requests, we talk about him because he has and everyone would like to have him in their team. But this must then be realised with numbers that support the thing. The player knows these situations well and it is expected that he will continue to do what he has always done, trying to go and get more. Author’s Take:

Mesut Ozil is considered as one of the best players in the world. But the German has fallen out of favour of Unai Emery and it seems that his Arsenal career is over. Arsenal are in need of good reinforcements but the financial crisis are hitting the Emirates hard and only permit to sign players on loan.
