Even though there were issues in hosting the tournament in India owing to the nationwide lockdown for the coronavirus pandemic, the BCCI pulled off a masterclass by hosting the tournament in the Gulf nation.

Gujarat Titans ended up as the champions of the fifteenth edition of the IPL. Under Hardik Pandya’s captaincy, GT made it all the way to the final and beat Rajasthan Royals to win their maiden title.

It will be quite interesting to see which team channelizes their aggression in the IPL 2023 season. The IPL 2023 will see as many as ten teams battle amongst themselves in the competition.

Chennai Super Kings won just 4 games out of 14 games, which goes to show how badly they executed their plans. However, Chennai Super Kings will be looking forward to starting afresh in the next season.

The IPL 2023 mini-auction is scheduled to be held in Kochi on December 23. The IPL trading window came to an end on November 15 at 5 PM.

Chennai Super Kings have made some relevant changes to their team. They are targeting a fifth title in the IPL 2023 season.

“The Chennai Super Kings team is preparing for the 2023 IPL season. There would possibly be training camps after the player auction is held,” CSK opener Ruturaj Gaikwad added at an event organized by Social, an urban hangout in Chennai.

“In the 2022 season, the team was hit following injuries to key players. A T20 match is decided based on the performances of the players on the day. We will bounce back this season,” he added.
