IPL 2023: The upcoming IPL 2023 mini-auction is just over a week away from getting underway. The all-important and highly-anticipated IPL 2023 auction will kick off in Kochi on December 23.

It remains to be seen which teams will go on to sign the apt players at the IPL 2023 auction. In the process, we can also expect major bidding wars while going for top players.

Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings failed to qualify for the playoffs in the last edition of the IPL season. While MI hit the rock bottom of the points table, CSK finished in 9th place.

Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants were the two new teams in the last edition of the IPL. The two teams showcased their mettle on the group stage.

Rightly so, both teams made the cut for the playoffs. While Gujarat Titans finished on top of the points table, Lucknow Super Giants finished third on the table.

However, Gujarat Titans defied all the odds and qualified for the final, unlike Lucknow Super Giants who were knocked out by Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Eliminator. Gujarat Titans beat Rajasthan Royals in the final to win their first title.

If reports doing the rounds are to be believed, Mumbai Indians franchise have approached the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise for Kartik Tyagi.

For the unversed, Kartik Tyagi was with the SRH franchise in the last season but didn’t get enough chances to showcase his bowling prowess.

Since SRH already have enough pacers in their arsenal, it is highly unlikely that Kartik Tyagi would break into the playing XI. Having played 16 games, he has taken 14 wickets to his name.
