Nkrumah Bonner, a West Indian batter, was struck on the head by Cameron Green’s nasty short pitch. And the right-hander was unable to avoid the bouncer.

Cameron Green hit the batter hard on the helmet as he attempted to duck while he was batting on 8. And the West Indian physiotherapist immediately responded to him.

Nkrumah Bonner did continue to bat for a few more pitches before deciding to leave for the locker room. While just as Jermaine Blackwood, the replacement batter, arrived. Shamarh Brooks was brought in to play the remainder of the Test match Between Australia vs West Indies as the concussion replacement after Nkrumah Bonner injured himself while batting on 16 off 47 deliveries. 

The concussion substitution change proved to be a blessing in disguise for the visitors as Shamarh Brooks scored 33 off 58 deliveries. And has looked reliable since coming to the crease.
