BAN vs IND: Reason for the shift in venue for the 3rd ODI of Bangladesh vs India

BAN vs IND: The third ODI of Bangladesh vs India was originally scheduled to take place at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka. However, the country’s opposition has announced their plans for a protest on the same day in the national capital.

As a result, the BCB are avoiding the rally on the day of the fixture for a smooth organization. Chattogram will now be the host to the third ODI of Bangladesh vs India as well as the first Test match.

“Chittagong was originally scheduled to host one Test. We felt there should be an ODI at the venue too,” BCB operations chief Jalal Yunus told AFP on Wednesday.

Although the board refrained from going deep into the actual reason, the recent dates for the protest certainly have a big role to play in this decision.
