BAN vs IND: Star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been out of cricketing action for a long time now. He was last seen playing for India in the Asia Cup 2022.
Jadeja played two games in the group stage before getting ruled out of the tournament due to injury. As a result, he had to miss the competition in the UAE.
Moreover, he was also ruled out of the entire ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. India badly missed his services in the competition.
He was expected to make a comeback anytime soon. Earlier, the BCCI announced the squad for the ODI and Test series against the Bangladesh cricket team.

Ravindra Jadeja’s name was there in both the squads. Recently, it has been confirmed that he will not available for the forthcoming three-match ODI series in Bangladesh.
It is due to the fact that he is yet to completely recover from the knee surgery that he underwent in the month of September. On the other hand, Shahbaz Ahmed was named as Jadeja’s replacement in the ODI squad that starts on December 4 in Mirpur.
