As of IPL 2019, the team is officially named “Delhi Capitals”. The team’s new name refers to Delhi’s importance as the nation’s capital. Fast bowler Mukesh Kumar is Delhi Capitals’ most expensive acquisition in the IPL 2023 auction so far. The local Bengali cricketer’s recent performance in the Vijay Hazare Trophy earned him a spot in India’s ‘A’ team for the Bangladesh tour.

Manish Pandey is a very good buy that has been done by DC he is an Indian Batsman. He can bat in the middle order and he can also go as a finisher. He used to play for KKR, SRH, LSH, etc. He is one of the finest players of spin and in absence of Rishabh Pant, he has an opportunity to rise and shine if DC gives him a fair chance.
