5 TEST CRICKETERS, IND vs AUS: There are only two more Test matches in the IND vs. AUS tournament. India has already defended the Border Gavaskar series after winning the first two Test matches in Nagpur and Delhi. Australia now leads the WTC points chart with 136 games overall in the defeat.
India scored 123 points, placing them second. The Men in Blue triumphed in both tests, taking the second by six wickets and the initial match by innings and 132 runs.
The very first Test of the trip was played on February 9 at the Nagpur Vidarbha Cricket Association Complex. The second Test was held in Delhi at the Arun Jaitley Ground from February 17 to 21.
The fourth Test will be contested at the Narendra Modi Ground in Ahmedabad from March 9 to 13, with the third Test taking place in Indore from March 1 to 5.
KL Rahul:
It is not anticipated that KL Rahul would be selected for the upcoming Test matches against Australia. He has scored 20 points, 17 points, and 1 point in the first four innings of the series. In 2022, he had ratings of 8, 12, 10, 22, 23, and 2. He just reached his first Test cricket fifty.

Regardless of the situation or the opposition, Pujara has served as a pillar for the Indian Test squad. He now has four innings left to have an impact on the series and his professional future. The Border Gavaskar Trophy series has been previously won by India, allowing the Indian Test champion to leave the sport on a happy note.

Jaydev Unadkat:
Jaydev Unadkat has played county cricket for a long time. He hasn’t had regular opportunities in the Indian Test team, though. He debuted his Test career in 2010 and contested his next Test 12 years later against Bangladesh. Throughout the series, he took a couple of wickets.
He was not present for the first two Tests despite being a member of the current Indian Test team for the Australia series. He is quite unlikely to be selected for the upcoming two-Test games. Previously, Unadkat took Saurashtra and Bengal to the Ranji Trophy final.
Hardik Pandya:
The next permanent white-ball captain of India is expected to be Hardik Pandya. He has indeed captained India in T20Is and is on the verge of taking over as the T20I captain permanently.
The Indian all-workload rounders are now one of the most contentious issues in Indian cricket, therefore his decision to withdraw from Test cricket will allow him to concentrate only on white-ball cricket. Hardik Pandya completed his final Test in 2018, hence he is currently not a member of India’s Test team.
Umesh Yadav:
Umesh is no longer India’s top pacer when Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj are available. The seasoned Indian who just experienced his father passing no longer regularly plays for India in Test matches. He has played an average of three Tests every year since 2020.
He ever played 10 Tests in a single year, which was in 2017. The management is presently ignoring the seasoned pacer due to the rise of the new-age bowlers. In total, Umesh Yadav has taken 165 wickets in 54 Test matches. It would be intriguing to watch if he gets a game in the upcoming two Test matches.
