The 29-year-old all-rounder, who led Gujarat Titans to a title win in their first season in the Indian Premier League 2022 season, is already India’s current vice-captain in the shortest format.

Hardik’s every accomplishment is the consequence of his huge hard effort, which resulted in a fantastic 2022 in T20 Internationals for team India, especially in the T20 World cup.

“It has been a magical year for me, obviously (I) would have liked the World Cup to come with it. But that is part and parcel of life. We tried but it did not happen, but going forward what is next and what I want to achieve, there is a lot to achieve.”, said Hardik Pandya.

Kohli also hopes to surpass Ricky Ponting in the list of hitters with the most ODI runs at home. He is presently ranked third on the list, trailing Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting.
