Umesh Yadav Test Sixes, IND vs AUS: Team India are crossing swords with the Australian national cricket team in the third Test match. The game is currently being held at Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore.
Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bat first in the game. As it turned out, the fans’ expectations turned into mere disappointments.
Team India were bowled out for just 109 runs in the first innings. Indian batters found it really tough to bat against the Australian spinners on the first day’s play.
The Indian batsmen fell prey to Australian spinners like a pack of cards as the game progressed. There was no stability in their batting approach as well.

Virat Kohli top-scored for India with 22 runs whereas Shubman Gill scored 21 runs. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma departed after scoring 12 runs.
Matthew Kuhnemann ripped through the defense of India’s batting unit on Day 1. He succeeded in taking five wickets to his name whereas Nathan Lyon took 3 wickets.

IND vs AUS: Umesh Yadav creates a new record in Test cricket
Meanwhile, India’s fast bowler Umesh Yadav scripted history as he created a new record in the longest format of the game.
Umesh Yadav who has been a pinch-hitter for India, particularly in the lower order created a superb record. He edged past Yuvraj Singh and Ravi Shastri‘s tally of sixes in Test cricket.
Umesh Yadav flexed his muscles by scoring 17 runs including 1 four and 2 sixes during his stay at the crease before he was trapped for an LBW off Matthew Kuhnemann.
Umesh Yadav has hit a total of 24 sixes to his name. On the other hand, the likes of Yuvraj Singh and Ravi Shastri have hit 22 sixes in Test cricket.
