Virat Kohli Reaction, IND vs AUS: Virat Kohli’s reaction goes viral after Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav goes for a golden duck. This was the second consecutive ODI where Yadav was dismissed by Mitchell Starc on a golden duck in the three-match of Ind vs Aus ODI series.

India’s top-order collapsed after a remarkable opening spell from Australian pacer Mitchell Starc who took a 5-wicket haul in the match. Starc has taken 8 wickets in the series so far, the left-arm fast bowler also bulldozed over the Indian top-order in the first ODI where he dismissed the likes of Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, and Shubman Gill.

The visitors opted to bowl first in the second ODI which took place in Vishakhapatnam. As soon as Indian batters came to bat, they looked in struggle as Starc dismissed Shubham Gill on the third ball of the innings.

Mitchell Starc took India’s first wickets to fall to set up a dramatic collapse for Rohit Sharma’s side as India crumbled to a 10-wicket defeat in the second ODI to help the visitors level the three-match ODI series at 1-1. Everybody would have expected Rohit and Virat Kholi to build something up but they could add 29 runs before Sharma was caught exceptionally by Steve Smith in the slips.

Following the game, captain Rohit Sharma spoke up in support of his Mumbai Indians teammate, Suryakumar Yadav. ‘SKY’ has had difficulty maintaining his exceptional T20I performance in the ODI format.

“We are uncertain about the return of (Shreyas) Iyer, and as there is currently a vacant spot, we have decided to include (Suryakumar) in the team. His proficiency with the white ball has been impressive, and I have previously stated that players who demonstrate potential will be given opportunities to showcase their abilities.”

“Of course, he knows that he needs to do while in a slightly longer format of the game as well. I think things are there in his mind as well. Like I said, guys with potential will have enough run where you know they should not feel that ‘Okay, You know I wasn’t given enough chances in that particular slot’,” Sharma said.
