Rohit Sharma propose a fan: Rohit Sharma jokingly proposes to a fan at the Visakhapatnam Airport before the 2nd ODI against Australia. Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma returned to the squad after missing the first match due to personal reasons.

In the second ODI match between India and Australia in Visakhapatnam on Sunday, Mitchell Starc’s impressive bowling performance of 5 wickets for 53 runs, coupled with the unbeaten opening partnership of 121 runs by Mitchell Marsh (66 not out) and Travis Head (51 not out), helped Australia win the match by 10 wickets and level the three-match series 1-1.

India had set a target of only 118 runs, which Australia comfortably achieved with 234 balls remaining. This resulted in India’s worst-ever defeat in terms of the number of deliveries left in the 50-over format.

Indian bowlers were faced with a challenging task on a pitch that offered support to seam and swing bowling, where the Australian team appeared to be unplayable, given their outstanding performance earlier. India recorded their fourth-lowest total at home and their overall third-lowest against Australia in ODIs.

Hardik Pandya led the team in his absence during the first ODI at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Friday. Upon arriving with his teammates in Vizag before the second ODI, Rohit Sharma was warmly welcomed by fans at the airport, and he even made a humorous proposal to one of them.

While the fan was taking a selfie video at the airport, Rohit Sharma and his teammates could be seen walking in the background. Rohit noticed the fan and gave him a rose that he was carrying while saying, “Here, this is for you.” The fan was caught off guard and could barely thank him when Rohit Sharma jokingly propose, “Will you marry me?”

The third ODI and series decider will be played on 22nd March in the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The host will be looking to get a hold of the visitors in ODIs after remarkably winning the test series by 2-1.

In the 3rd ODI, the Indian team’s point of concern will be their top-order and middle-order after their back-to-back collapse in the first and second ODI. Ishan Kishan could be added to the XI in place of Shubman Gill whereas Umran Malik could be added to the arsenal as well.
