Kuldeep Yadav: New Zealand national cricket team responded pretty well in the T20I series after what they went through in the three-match ODI series recently.
The Black Caps failed to find a way to come out on top in the ODI series earlier. They lost all three games of the series and ended up getting whitewashed at the hands of the Indians.
On the other hand, when the T20I series kick-started, New Zealand did produce a spark straight away and their response was so critical that it helped them take the first lead in the series.
New Zealand got the better of Team India by 21 runs in the first T20I at JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi. On the contrary, Team India made a superb comeback in the second T20I.

It was a must-win encounter for the Men in Blue to stay alive in the series. Hardik Pandya and Co beat the Black Caps by six wickets at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
