India vs Bangladesh: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has now called on skipper Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid for a review meeting ahead of India’s tour of Bangladesh.

The tour is slated to be held in December where India will play three ODIs followed by two Tests. The senior cricketers such as Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will be back in the mix to play both the formats.

Since ODI World Cup is scheduled to be held later next year in India, the senior cricketers will be pretty much focused on the 50-over format.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been rested for India’s tour of New Zealand. Hardik Pandya led the team from the for the T20I series against the Kiwis.

“There will be a meeting. I can’t tell you exactly when. We are supposed to meet Rohit and Rahul before they leave for Bangladesh. There are few things to discuss. There is no review as such. we need to plan for the next World Cup.

“Rohit and Rahul both know what changes we need. As for split captaincy and coach, once we meet with the coach and captain besides selectors, we will take a call,” a senior BCCI official told InsideSport.

India’s tour of Bangladesh is not far away from getting underway. The tour kick-starts with the ODI series, with the first game slated to be played on December 4.

The first two ODIs will be held at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka on 4th and 7th of next month. On the other hand, the third and final ODI will kick off at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram on December 10.

Meanwhile, the first of the two-match Test series will kick off on December 14. The venue of the game is at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram.

The second and final Test is scheduled to kick off at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka on December 22. It will be quite interesting to see which team will come out on top in both the formats.
