Suryakumar Yadav: The right-handed Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav received the ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year award for 2022. He also receives the award for the first time as an Indian.

He struck 11 fours and seven sixes around the park at a scoring rate of 217.65. Cricketers were most interested in his first T20I hundred against England at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. He struck off 117 balls.
