IPL 2023: The Indian Premier League (IPL) auction instills hope in the supporters of each franchise every year as they eagerly await some standout additions to the squad that will aid them in the regular season.
The mini-auction held in Kochi on Friday saw some players start a bidding war, with some selling for enormous sums of money and others failing to land a spot in any franchise. This year was no different.
After enjoying a respectable season in the last iteration of the prestigious competition, the Lucknow Super Giants team made their second appearance in the auction this year. However, the team relied primarily on their top order to score runs.
While the middle order lacked the firepower needed to help the team score a lot of runs and take the lead. The management recruited players from the auction ahead of the upcoming season who might make an impact and lead them to success.
