Aakash Chopra believes that all-rounders like Cameron Green, Daniel Sams, or even Jason Holder might be of interest to the five-time IPL champions. Jason Holder played for the Lucknow Super Giants during the previous campaign and was then released into the auction pool.

But according to Aakash Chopra, Jason Holder would be the ideal choice for the Mumbai franchise since Jason Holder might accept a lower offer and the Wankhede environment will suit him.
“Out of the overseas all-rounders available, they might probably want Daniel Sams, Cameron Green on Jason Holder. They have INR 20.55 crore in their kitty with 9 slots to fill. So it will certainly not be possible for them to bit till 12-13 crore and get a star all-rounder. Jason Holder might cost them a bit less and the conditions in Wankhede might suit him.” Aakash Chopra said.

Like Mumbai Indian, Lucknow Super Giants, according to Aakash Chopra, needs an international all-rounder to achieve balance in their starting lineup. Holder was let to return to the auction by Lucknow, But Chopra predicts that they may make a strong bid for either Cameron Green or Sam Curran.
The former cricket player offered his opinion on why they didn’t have to spend a fortune on Ben Stokes.
He added. “They need to go hard for players like Cameron Green and Sam Curran. They shouldn’t bid for Ben Stokes as they don’t need a top-order batter or a captain. Need someone who can bat in the lower middle-order.”
