IPL 2023: The fifteenth edition of the Indian Premier League came to a destiny with Gujarat Titans on the top. The 2 month season which started on March 26 arrived at closure on May 29 at the recently built Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India.
It was a bewitching season with two pristine teams entering the fold in the Indian Premier League. There was so much buildup around the evolution of the IPL with the inclusion of two distinctive teams.
The two fresh teams, Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans did not disabuse us as they went on to set on a tremendous skit. Lucknow Super Giants succeeded in the playoffs while Gujarat Titans held up the IPL trophy.
Gujarat Titans proceeded on to win the IPL trophy in their maiden IPL season. This is a superfluity for teams like Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Delhi Capitals who have existed here since the advent but could not lift the trophy for a single point.

They too could hold on to only eight points in 14 games. For different teams like Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Delhi Capitals, this was yet another forgettable season like the typical times.
