A short clip was shared by the Twitter handle of CSK as MS Dhoni practices in the nets during a practice session on Friday. The video shows the CSK skipper executing a few drives, exciting cheers from fans on the social media platform who were happy to witness Dhoni back in action.
Upon his arrival earlier this week at the Chennai airport, Dhoni was greeted with a bunch of flowers. Several fans were observed attempting to capture a photo with the former India captain. The 41-year-old has led CSK to four championship titles in 2010, 2011, 2018 & 2021.
As Dhoni approaches the end of his IPL career, his contributions to CSK and to the IPL as a whole cannot be overstated. Dhoni’s legacy in the IPL will continue to inspire future generations of cricketers. He will always be remembered as one of the greatest players and captains in the history of the tournament.
