IPL 2023: With the Tata IPL just a few months away, the excitement is in the air as the world’s top players will compete in the most expensive T20 league. All teams have a wealth of talent within them who promise to make this edition also an exciting one.
Over the years, the IPL has seen some of the best wicketkeeper hitters in the history of the game trade in India. Some of the biggest names are A.B. de Villiers, Adam Gilchrist, Kumar Sangakkara, MS Dhoni, Dinesh Karthik, and Jos Butler in the Indian Premier League.
Dhoni, as usual, will also be in this competition. Even some new talents emerge this season, trying to establish themselves as some of the competition’s top names.

1. MS Dhoni
He is one of the greatest wicketkeepers and finishers in league history. MS Dhoni is one of the few cricketers to have played in all editions of the Indian Premier League.
Over the years, MS Dhoni has produced countless memorable performances with both glove and bat. He probably wants the magic to repeat itself at the end.
As a wicket-keeper, he is the No.1 on the list of ‘most dismissals by a wicketkeeper in IPL’. He had made 131 successful catches in IPL as a wicketkeeper. He is one of the sharpest wicket-keepers.
2. Dinesh Karthik
By the time the 2022 IPL kicked off, most people had written off Dinesh Karthik. He was brought into the RCB team in place of legendary AB De Villiers. Dinesh Karthik has written another fairy tale chapter in a career of over 18 years.
Outstanding performances on the bat helped Dinesh Karthik win several games for the franchise, making up for the South African. With his RCB achievements last season, Karthik made an unexpected comeback for the Indian side at the age of 37.

3. Nicholas Pooran
One of his most expensive purchases at auction for the second year in a row, Nicholas Pooran was bought by Lucknow Super His Giants (LSG) for a whopping Rs 1.6 crore. A talented hitter, Nicholas Pooran is one of the top T20 players in the world.
However, in the last two seasons of the IPL, Pooran has not lived up to his immense potential. However, he’s been doing really well lately and is looking to replicate that when he lands in India this summer.
