Gautam Gambhir Gets Hit On Helmet, LLC 2023: Gautam Gambhir is currently representing India Maharajas in the second edition of Legends League Cricket 2023. In fact, he is also the captain of India Maharajas.
Interestingly, the tournament opener between India Maharajas and Asia Lions witnessed some catchy moments during the passage of the play.
Earlier, a picture featuring Shahid Afridi and Gautam Gambhir at the toss went viral on the internet. Afridi can be seen smiling cheekily at Gambhir as he shook hands.
Both the superstars were seen having a customary handshake but judging by the body language, fans came up with a truckload of memes on the social media portals.
Meanwhile, both the players competed against each other in the ongoing edition of the Legends League Cricket 2023. India Maharajas locked horns with Asia Lions in the first game of the tournament.
Misbah Ul Haq scored 73 off 50 balls with the help of two boundaries and four sixes for the Asia Lions as they posted 165/6 in their quota of 20 overs. On the other hand, India Maharajas fell short of the target in the run-chase.

During India Maharajas’ run-chase, Gautam Gambhir was the pick of the batters. He scored 54 off 39 balls with the help of seven boundaries.
During his stay at the crease, he got hit on his helmet off Abdul Razzaq‘s bowling. Meanwhile, Shahid Afridi came up to him to check on him if he is really alright. His gesture won the hearts of the fans.
The video clip of the same has gone viral on social media portals. The majority of the fans from the cricket fraternity heaped praise on Afridi for his lovely gesture.
Asia Lions somehow managed to restrict the opposition to 156/8 in 20 overs. Asia Lions won the game by nine runs and clinched the tournament opener at West End Park International Cricket Stadium, Doha.
