This T20 league is one of the richest play and many players come up with same interest as of the fans. Though we don’t get the chance, the league had introduced many new young talents on the field and still introducing them.

Most expensive players of CSK, MI, KKR
Ben Stokes (CSK) was signed by CSK with Rs.16.25 Cr in IPL auction 2023. Stokes has attracted the interest of several teams after playing a key role in England’s T20 World Cup campaign earlier this year. Stokes is now CSK’s highest-paid player to date, overtaking Deepak Chahar. With the Super Kings exploring leadership options in the post-Dhoni era, Stokes is also a candidate for the captaincy. The England international has played 43 games in his IPL, strike rate of 134.50, and has 920 runs. He had also picked 28 wickets.
Cameron Green(MI) – The young Australian all-rounder becomes the second most expensive player in IPL history after the five-time champion was bought at a price of Rs. 17.5 Cr. Cameron Green will replace Kieron Pollard of the Mumbai Indians. Green impressed with his performance in the T20 series between India and Australia in September, opening the innings with Aaron Finch in the absence of David Warner. Green scored 118 runs in three games and his strike rate was 214.55. Surprisingly, Cameron Green put his name in his IPL auction for the first time and got a high bid.
Pat Cummins (KKR) – The franchise was able to acquire Australian test skipper Pat Cummins at the IPL 2020 auction for a whopping price of 15.50 Cr. Cummins was the most expensive foreign player at the auction. However, the next two seasons were not fruitful enough for Cummins, who took only 29 wickets for the franchise in two seasons. KKR bought back Cummins at IPL 2022 mega auction for 7.25 Cr.
Most expensive IPL players of SRH, PBKS, LSG
Harry Brook(SRH) – English batter Harry Brooke has been purchased by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for INR 132.5 crore for the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL). Brook recently emerged as the top-running scorer in the series against Pakistan, with an average of 93.60. And he scored 468 runs, three centuries and a half century, and a top score of 153 in the longer format.
Sam Curran(PBKS) – Punjab Kings have acquired the services of British star all-rounder Sam Curran for Rs 1.85 crore at the 2023 IPL mini-auction. Now, he had become the most expensive player in IPL history. The 24-year-old was also named the best player in the final of the 2022 ICC T20 Men’s World Cup. In his short IPL career, Curran played 32 of his IPL matches, scaling 32 wickets and amassing 225 runs.
Nicholas Pooran(LSG) – Nicholas Pooran has been sold to Lucknow Supergiants for Rs 1.6 crore in a mini IPL auction. During his IPL career, Pooran appeared in 47 games, has a striking rate of 151.20, and scored 912 runs with his highest score so far as 77 runs. Still many point out Pooran as ‘over-priced’.

Most expensive IPL players of GT, RR, RCB, DC
Hardik Pandya and Rashid Khan(GT) – Hardik Pandya and Rashid Khan, each of them bought for 15 Cr. They were bought based on their past performance. Hardik Pandya has excelled as a captain and showed his all-rounder skills. Rashid Khan has also proved his skills and experience in the bowling part.

Chris Morris(RR) – Morris was the most expensive player in the 2021 IPL after the Rajasthan Royals spent 16.25 Cr. Morris turned out to be a big mistake for the franchise because he was in a bad form for the franchise. He played his 11 matches for the franchise and scored just 67 wickets.
Kyle Jamieson(RCB) – RCB took Jamieson for a whopping 15 CR. Jamieson said he has never played in the IPL and doesn’t have much T20 experience. He had a lot of potential. He started well in the longest format, but RCB took a big risk by buying a new player at a very high price. Kyle Jamieson is RCB’s most expensive purchase in his IPL history.
Yuvraj Singh (DC) – At the 2015 IPL auction, Yuvraj Singh was bought by DC for a whopping Rs. 16 Cr. However, he did not perform his best in either franchise and was eventually fired from both. He played his final IPL his game with the Indians in Mumbai in 2019.
