NZ vs IND: Former Team India Pacer Dodda Ganesh Slams Hardik Pandya, VVS Laxman For Ignoring Sanju Samson in New Zealand T20Is

NZ vs IND: Hardik Pandya led the team pretty well in Rohit Sharma’s absence for the three-match T20I series against the New Zealand cricket team.

The Black Caps did their best to put up a fight against the Indians in the series. However, they couldn’t come out on top much to the sheer quality displayed by the Indians.

India won the second game by 65 runs and drew first blood in the T20I series. The third game saw both teams showing great character in a bid to win the game.

However, as it turned out, rain played spoilsport in the game. This was when the DLS method came into the big picture as Team India’s score was same as the par score.

Sanju Samson deserved an opportunity to feature in at least one of the games ahead of Rishabh Pant as the latter failed to perform in the second T20I.

Pant could score only 6 runs off 13 balls before he was dismissed cheaply. While we thought Sanju Samson would get the nod in the third T20I ahead of Pant, it was otherwise.

Ganesh took to his official Twitter handle anda then questioned Samson’s exclusion and wrote, “Sanju Samson still doesn’t get a game. Hard to fathom this #DoddaMathu #crickettwitter #NZvIND”.

He felt that Samson should have been picked ahead of Iyer. “By picking Iyer ahead of Samson the Indian think tank has reiterated that they’ll not learn from their mistakes and they shall never change their approach towards T20 #DoddaMathu #crickettwitter”, he wrote.
