PSL 2023: Azam Khan Showcases Brutal Hitting Against Quetta Gladiators Which Is Coached by His Father

Azam Khan Brutal Hitting, PSL 2023: Azam Khan showcased brutal hitting in the PSL encounter between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators. Shadab Khan-led Islamabad United faced Sarfaraz Ahmed-led Quetta Gladiators on Friday at National Stadium, Karachi.

Bottom-placed Quetta Gladiators were looking for points against second-place United. United opted to bat first in a heated clash against the Gladiators which did not go their way as they faced early wickets, losing Gurbaz, Rassie, and their captain Shadab followed by Colin Munro with just 71 runs on board in the first half of the innings.

After the wicket of Shadab, came Azam Khan displayed brutal hitting as he scored 97 runs off just 42 balls, hitting 8 sixes and 9 fours throughout his innings.

The wicket-keeper batsman’s inning along with a cameo of another hitter Asif Ali took the total of united to 220 runs. Gladiators conceded over 150 runs in the last 10 overs.

Coached by Azam Khan‘s father and former Pakistani wicket-keeper batsman Moin Khan’s Gladiators became the victim of the right-handed batsman, also his son Azam Khan’s brutal hitting who won the Man Of the Match Award for his aggressive inning.

Azam Khan made his debut in domestic cricket in 2019, playing for the Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
