Babar Azam Joke, PSL 2023: The ongoing edition of the Pakistan Super League has by far lived up to the expectations of the spectators who turned up in numbers to watch games so far. The eighth edition of the PSL was nothing short of entertainment so far. The teams have been giving totally everything in a bid to win games.
However, the best teams are the ones that had the last laugh in the battles. Meanwhile, during the 12th game of the PSL between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United, a funny incident took place.
The incident left the cricket fraternity in splits after Babar Azam came up with a new way of hilariously threatening the opposition player. Peshawar Zalmi realized that Hasan Ali was standing in his way while taking the run. It is the moment when players tend to lose concentration which might result in a run-out.
However, Babar Azam ensured to be careful and his presence of mind helped him tackle the tricky situation. Babar Azam made the headlines after he jokingly scared Hasan Ali with the bat while trying to take a single.

Babar Azam lifted his bat and then hilariously threatened Hasan Ali during the game as both players shared a light moment on the field.

Talking about the game, Babar Azam was the lone fighter for Peshawar Zalmi. He scored an unbeaten 75 off 58 balls with the help of seven fours and a six.
Babar Azam helped Peshawar Zalmi post 156 for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted quota of 20 overs. On the other hand, Islamabad United aced the run-chase in 14.5 overs.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz top-scored with 62 off 31 balls. The 21-year-old Afghanistani international chipped in with a quickfire knock and helped the team ace the chase as United beat Zalmi by six wickets.
Meanwhile, Hasan Ali who took 3/35 for Islamabad United was named the man of the match. “I kept believing in myself and worked hard to get back. The first over didn’t go to plan but I came back well. Thanks to the management for always backing me and telling me I am a tiger,” he said after the game.
Hasan Ali further added, “I would also like to thank my wife who keeps pushing me and believing in me. When I got the ball in my second spell, the credit goes to Shadab Khan for believing me and giving the ball after a poor first over.”
