Mirza Tahir Baig was dismissed for 20 runs from 17 balls. While Fakhar Zaman was out for 36 runs from 23 balls. Abdullah Shafique scored 45 runs from 24 balls with a strike rate of 187.50.
Sam Billings and Abdullah Shafique put up a 71 runs partnership for the second wicket. Lahore Qalandars put up 200 runs with a loss of seven wickets against Islamabad United.
Islamabad United too had a bumpy start. They lost their openers for 54 runs. Islamabad United were done at 90 runs and Lahore Qalandars went on to win the PSL 2023 match by 110 runs.
David Wiese went on to win the man of the match award against Lahore Qalandars in the PSL 2023 match. He picked up three wickets by giving away 17 runs in three overs.

The PSL 2023 game between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United was one-sided. It was because Lahore Qalandars proceeded to conquer the proceedings throughout the contest.
Rashid Khan played a crunchy helicopter shot for a 99-meter six against English international Tom Curran. The crowd went out of control looking at the shot from the stands.
