Virat Kohli RCB, WPL 2023: On Wednesday, Virat Kohli made an appearance at the RCB Women’s camp (March 15). Kohli, who has been with the Bangalore-based club since its beginning, was seen giving a pep talk ahead of RCB’s crucial match against the UP Warriorz.

RCB Women lost five consecutive games in the ongoing Women’s Premier League. With the hopes of changing their fortunes, Virat Kohli addressed the Smirti Mandhana-led side, offering them motivation.

“I have been playing IPL for 15 years, I haven’t won yet but that doesn’t stop me. That’s the effort I can put in. Always think about the opportunity rather than how bad it is now,” Virat Kohli said.

Following this talk, the RCB Women defeated the UP Warriorz thanks to Kanika Ahuja‘s superb batting effort. The team captained by Smriti Mandhana won their first game of the competition by five wickets.

Kohli has scored 2083 runs in 43 matches at an average of 54.81. He has eight hundreds, one less than Sachin Tendulkar‘s tally of nine against Australia in the 50-over format.

Virat Kohli was brilliant in the one-day international series against Sri Lanka this year. In three games, the Delhi-batter scored 283 runs at an average of 141.50, including an unbeaten 166.

Australia, on the other hand, can benefit from Kohli’s recent form in one-day cricket. He scored 55 runs at an average of 18.33 in the ODI series against New Zealand. But, Kohli is coming off a 186-run knock in the final Test in Ahmedabad.
