Virat Kohli RCB, WPL 2023: On Wednesday, Virat Kohli made an appearance at the RCB Women’s camp (March 15). Kohli, who has been with the Bangalore-based club since its beginning, was seen giving a pep talk ahead of RCB’s crucial match against the UP Warriorz.
RCB Women lost five consecutive games in the ongoing Women’s Premier League. With the hopes of changing their fortunes, Virat Kohli addressed the Smirti Mandhana-led side, offering them motivation.
“I have been playing IPL for 15 years, I haven’t won yet but that doesn’t stop me. That’s the effort I can put in. Always think about the opportunity rather than how bad it is now,” Virat Kohli said.
Following this talk, the RCB Women defeated the UP Warriorz thanks to Kanika Ahuja‘s superb batting effort. The team captained by Smriti Mandhana won their first game of the competition by five wickets.
