Cristiano Ronaldo news: CR7’s start to the 22/23 season

Ronaldo has not had a great start to the 22/23 season with Man Utd. The 37-year-old has featured in all eight of Man Utd’s games so far this season but has only made it to the starting XI on three occasions.

Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag dropped Ronaldo to the bench in the Red Devils’ match against Brighton in their Premier League 22/23 opener.

Ronaldo, who had missed Man Utd’s pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia, started the game against Brighton on the bench before coming on in the second half.

Ronaldo returned to the starting XI in Man Utd’s next game but failed to impress as the Red Devils suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat at the hands of Brentford.
