In an incredible comeback, Cristiano Ronaldo is set to return to the Theatre of Dreams. The superstar is once again going to be seen donning the red of Manchester United. Ole Gunnar Solskjær has received a huge boost in his hunt for the Premier League.

All across Europe, the news had spread that Cristiano Ronaldo is going to Etihad stadium to join Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. However having been coached under Alex Ferguson, this was something he couldn’t do.

Hence having bid adieu to his Juventus teammates, Cristiano Ronaldo decided to return to the red half of Manchester. Much to the delight of Manchester United fans who will once again chant ‘Viva Ronaldo’.

The reported fee is said to be £28 million. United put in a last-minute bid and Juventus was happy to accept. Now new reports say Manchester City never had any agreement but had only held talks with Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes.

However, having joined Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo will be taking a big cut in his pay check. Although he’s taking a cut, it will still make him the highest-paid Manchester United player ahead of only David De Gea.

The Portuguese international was earning a mammoth £26 million per year at Juventus which equates to £500,000 per week! However, at Old Trafford, he will be getting £385,000 or £20 million a year.

Leeds United interested in Daniel James and Jesse Lingard to remain at West Ham United

Leeds United are in advanced talks with Manchester United for the transfer of Daniel James. After the arrival of Daniel James, it’s unlikely the Welsh international will get much playing time from Ole Gunnar Solskjær.

Leeds United are very much interested in signing the forward. United are expected to ask a price of £20 million for the youngster. Daniel James still has three years left on his contract.

James joined Manchester United from Swansea back in 2019 and hasn’t had any real impact so far. Known for his blistering pace, Daniel James has been found lacking in front of goal and is not a clinical finisher.

Jesse Lingard is being rumoured to once again stay at West Ham United. Lingard had been fantastic under David Moyes and West Ham wanted to sign him but the £30 million price tag put them off. However, now they are once again looking to sign him.

The form that he showed the back end of last season for West Ham, getting himself back into England contention was superb.I would want to keep that momentum going. I wouldn’t want to sit on the bench and not start, get a couple of minutes here and a couple of minutes there,” said 13 time England international David Bent.

I’d be thinking I like what David Moyes is building, playing week in week out, be the main man, and who knows get himself back into this England squad.”
