Antonio Conte admits that Cristiano Ronaldo’s massive offer from Chinese football club is morally wrong.
A Chinese football club offered Real Madrid €300m to sign Cristiano Ronaldo and paying him more than €100m a year in wages. The reports suggest that the Portuguese forward has already rejected the offer.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte believes that the money involved in Chinese football is not right. He insists that such offers are incredible and he doesn’t want to agree with this situation.

Recently Chelsea midfielder Oscar was transferred to Chinese club Shanghai SIPG for a fee of £60m. On Thursday, former Manchester United and Man City forward Carlos Tevez also moved to China in a deal reportedly worth around £512,000-a-week.
“I think it’s an incredible story. We are talking about a lot, lot, lot of money. I don’t want to trust in this,” said Conte.
“I don’t want to believe in this. Because I think, we are talking about an amount of money which is not right.”
“I saw the last contract, the last contract with Carlos Tevez. I think we are talking about a lot of money. This type of offer is incredible and it’s very difficult for the players to say ‘no’.”
Conte also said “But I must be honest, I think it’s not right. It’s not right, this. Because you must have respect for the money and then if there are these offers, this type of offer… but I don’t agree, I don’t agree with this situation.”
Meanwhile, Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has claimed that his client has rejected a massive offer from an unnamed Chinese club.

Mendes said “From China, they’ve offered €300m to Real Madrid and more than €100m per year to the player. But money is not everything; the Spanish club is his life.”
Mendes also admits that it’s normal to have such offers for the best player in the world. Cristiano Ronaldo has already said that he could play for another 10 years with the European Champions.
The four-times Ballon d’Or winner signed a new contract at Madrid in November, extending his commitment to the club until 2021.
“The Chinese market is a new market,” Mendes said. “They can buy a lot of players, but then again it is impossible to go for Ronaldo.”
“Cristiano is the best player in the world and best ever. It is normal to have some offers. He won the European Championship with Portugal. It’s like winning the Italian league with Genoa -they were not the favourite,” said Mendes.
