Danjuma Transfer News: Arnaut Danjuma has stated that Liverpool has been watching him ahead of a possible summer transfer.
The former Bournemouth midfielder has been linked with a move back to England ahead of next season, with a number of clubs reportedly keen.
One of them, according to reports, is Liverpool, who may be looking to bolster their assault this summer after Sadio Mane decided to leave Anfield.
Manchester United are keeping an eye on his progress at Villarreal, according to the Manchester Evening News. If the reports are to be believer, Erik ten Hag is looking to enhance his attacking options at Old Trafford. However, it is unclear whether a move for the winger this season is conceivable.

Surprisingly, Danjuma has spoken out about Jurgen Klopp’s interest in his services and has refused to rule out a move. “I was aware that Liverpool were closely following me,” he told Dutch station Ziggo Sport.
During the season, I’ve never had any communication with clubs or anything like that; I always find out about the issue after the season is over. I will never lie, and I believe that not being ambitious is a horrible quality.”
If a club came along that offered me a better sporting platform, I would always take it into consideration.”

Danjuma has gotten a lot of attention this season with Villarreal, where he played a significant part under former Arsenal manager Unai Emery.
After joining the Spanish club for a record £21.3 million last summer, the 25-year-old has scored 16 goals in all competitions, helping the Yellow Submarine to a seventh-place finish in La Liga and a spectacular run to the Champions League semi-finals.
They were eventually halted by Liverpool, one of Danjuma’s probable future employers.
The Dutchman’s contract at the Estadio de la Ceramica has just over four years left on it, but he has lauded Emery’s impact on his performances as well as the Spaniard’s role in convincing him to join the club in the first place.
Views on Emery
He remarked ahead of their match against Liverpool: “Emery is special, and he’s one of the key reasons I came to Villarreal in the first place. It’s an honour to serve as a player under him.”
“He’s very open with the guys, and I’m picking up a lot from him. Working with him is a tremendous pleasure. He’s one of the greatest in the business. He’s a unique individual.”
