Washington Sundar, a Team India all-rounder, took to social media today (Tuesday) to share a few adorable photos with T Natarajan’s daughter, Hanvika. Washington Sundar suggested in his post that T Natarajan had given him the babysitting duties of his little one for him to bowl toe-crushing yorkers.
It is worth noting that the two players shared the Sunrisers Hyderabad dressing room in this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL 2022). Sundar and Natarajan have also played several domestic seasons for their home state of Tamil Nadu. The two cricket stars have a strong bond on and off the field.

Sundar and Natarajan made their Test debuts together in the deciding Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test in Brisbane, Australia. Both cricketers were instrumental in India’s historic victory over Gabba hosts. Lancashire Cricket has signed Washington Sundar for the ongoing County Championship 2022.
Lancashire’s upcoming County Championship 2022 games will feature the 22-year-old all-rounder. The talented youngster will also play for the side in the Royal London One-Day Cup. Injuries have plagued Sundar’s cricketing career. He struggled with persistent issues throughout the IPL season, appearing in only nine games for his team.
Sundar failed to impact the latest edition of the cash-rich league, finishing with 101 runs and six wickets. He last played for India in February 2022. He was not included in the Ireland and England tours squad. The deft spinner will be hoping to regain full fitness to compete in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022, which will be held in Australia in October.
About Washington Sundar

Natarajan’s journey as a cricketer is worth reading, from almost being a coolie to being a million-dollar baby in the IPL. The left-arm quickie, who is from Salem, learned his basics by playing tennis ball cricket. Yorkers bowled with the tennis ball and switched to cutters with the seasoned ball. But, the impact on the batsman remained the same.
Touted as India’s Mustafizur Rahman, KXIP signed him for three crores for the IPL 2017 after stellar performances in the domestic season and the inaugural season of the TNPL.
In his first IPL season, he appeared in six games and took two wickets. That was disappointing, but it was a good learning experience for someone so inexperienced. However, he was benched for the entire season, even though there were plenty of experienced campaigners vying for the position.
